FAQs

Where can I work with you?

For therapy, I am currently offering virtual sessions via the Jane App platform for residents of British Columbia.

As for yoga and breath work, I offer in person options in Vancouver, BC, and I am able to provide virtual sessions to anyone, anywhere.

How do I know which service I should book into?

If you are unclear about whether you want to pursue therapy, yoga or breath work, you are welcome to contact me to book a 15-minute no cost consultation to get a better sense of which service will meet your specific needs. Know that therapy, yoga and breath work tend to be quite compatible and it may be supportive to combine modalities to experience a well-rounded approach to wellness. Even if we begin to go down one path, you are always invited to request bringing in another modality.

What is the cost of the session?

Please see the page for the service you are interested in for a detailed list of cost per service.

Do you offer sliding scale?

If cost is a barrier, I am able to offer a limited number of sliding scale therapy options in my practice for a maximum of 12 sessions subject to availability. Please let me know in our 15 minute meet & greet or initial session if this is something you are looking for.

I am able to offer sliding scale for breath work sessions.

How is payment managed?

Payment is due at the time of session. Payment is accepted via either the secure Jane App platform or etransfer.

Do you offer direct billing for insurances?

At this time, I am not able to offer direct billing for therapy services. It is your responsibility to consult with your insurance provider to know what coverage is available to you. I am registered with the BC College of Social Workers (Registrant # 14554).

At the end of our session, you will be issued a receipt with all of the details needed for you to submit a claim to your insurance provider to be reimbursed.

What if I am in crisis in between sessions? Can I reach out to you?

Please note, I am unable to respond to crises in between scheduled therapy sessions or via email. If you need to move your session to an earlier point, you may check my availability via Janeapp to see if I have any space to see you sooner from what you have scheduled. If you are not seeing availability, you may email me to check what availability I may have for a scheduled session.

If you are at immediate risk, please call 911 or visit your local emergency department.
